At CASIDI 2000, we have extensive experience in this process and offer comprehensive organization—from the initial consultation to registration in the Commercial Register. Registration follows the same basic steps, but there are specifics that our team manages on your behalf:
Banking requirements
For foreigners, banks require additional checks, information, documents, and fees. We arrange approval from the bank in advance so that everything is ready for your visit and the process goes smoothly without delay.
Notarial certifications
We organize the entire certification process, provide an interpreter on site if necessary, and accompany the client to the notary.
Bilingual documentation
We prepare the documents in both Bulgarian and English for greater clarity, security, and convenience.
With us, foreigners can complete their registration in Bulgaria easily, quickly, and with confidence that everything has been done correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to register a company?
Usually, the company is entered in the Commercial Register within 3 business days after the documents are submitted. The actual timeframe also depends on the client—how quickly they visit a notary and a bank. If this happens within one day, the company can be fully registered in just 3 days.
What documents are required to register a company?
The main documents are the memorandum of association/articles of association, statutory declarations, specimen signature, and proof of paid-up capital. We prepare the entire set for you.
Can I register a company entirely online?
Yes. The process on our part is carried out entirely online—we prepare all the documents, send them by email, and after signing, our clients return them scanned. Only the notarization and the deposit of capital in a bank require personal presence. More and more banks now offer online opening of a collection account and capital deposit, which further simplifies the procedure.
What is the minimum capital required to register a company?
The minimum capital for a single-member limited liability company (EOOD) or limited liability company (OOD) is BGN 2 / EUR 1. It is possible to contribute more capital depending on the needs of the business.
Do I need to register my company for VAT?
VAT registration is mandatory when a certain turnover is reached or when performing specific activities, such as international trade and services. In many cases, however, companies choose voluntary registration when it is more beneficial for their business. During the consultation, we will explain when registration is mandatory, in which situations it is beneficial, and whether it is suitable for your business model.
Can foreigners register a company in Bulgaria?
Yes, foreign citizens can register a company in Bulgaria. The procedure is similar to that for Bulgarian citizens, but includes specifics such as bilingual documents, bank checks, and notary certifications.
Do I need to be present in person to register a company?
For Bulgarian citizens, presence is usually only required at the notary and the bank. For foreigners, the process requires more formalities, but we provide full assistance and accompaniment.
